Id use it too. We once had a 6 year old turkey that had been sitting in the deep freeze and been forgotten at my Grandmas. There was no way we were going to waste that!0

Pork (or Turkey!) and Carrot
Finely chop a medium onion. Soften in olive oli, with 2 cloves crushed garlic. Add 300g pork or turkey mince, and cook until browned. Add 2 grated carrots (I often add more - about 4, as I like the veggieness of it) and 1 tin chopped tomatoes, and season. Simmer for about 40 mins. Serve with pasta, grated parmesan, and fresh oregano..................ooh, and a glass of red!

No way would I have it! Turkey mince can be rough fresh but I find it toughens up frozen, so it would sail towards the bin here.
I'm in the process of emptying the freezer and why have I frozen half the stuff ?and what is some of it? springs to mind!Panda xx
