Can't find a morgage

We have sold our house & have found a bungerlow the only problem is it's a holiday home,it's a free hold property but the problem is the banks won't give a morgage to a property that only has a 10 month accupancy,can any one help.

how will it work if you're presumably going to be living there full time? will you have to be away from the prop for 2 months at a time within the year or something??

when we were looking, we'd ruled out holiday restricted properties as we intended to make the permanent move to the property at some time, so i'm interested in how this would work as a permanent home
