good luck to mrs f tomorrow! good news re the landlord...x0

Mrs F's interview only lasted 20 mins. I was in the car longer to get home and back again from work, to be supportive.
After abit of confusion withthe mortgage figures (OR thought we'd pocketed £9000 in a re-mortgage - i wish) all went well. No real SOA discussion, just confirmed everything on the BR petition.
She has no IPA - yeah
But they are going to tell the letting agents - Boo
I spoke to the letting agents this afternoon and they were already awere, things move fast. I said i didn't want them to hear it from anyone else, but i appear to be too late.
They were cool and as long as rent is paid, no worries. BIG relief. I really didn't want to tell Mrs F that after all the hard work, we have to move again - he and the kids to her mums and me to my dads was probabley the solution. Neither of us wanted that as i love my dad, but 24/7 i dont know. lol
Things have gone worringly well so far. We're not normally that lucky.
Only really the old house left to sort out. Will type a letter to them this week to get the ball rolling.
Off to buy some spearmint tea and take the girls to Girls Brigade.
Laters all.I'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.

OK, been a bit sparce on the board for a while.
I think i just needed a break from it all.
I thought i'd update anybody that is interested now or in the future.
IPA has started for me. Nearly forgot to do it, luckily you can set up on-line with Co-op and they can collect the next day !!
Had letter confirming my car is exempt and had letter confirming no interest in pension (not contributed to for some years)
I have had a problem with buying back interest in Life Insurance. As you may remember, me and Mrs F have different OR's. Mrs F's appear to be a bit quicker and she got a letter asking for £50 to buy back interest.
We emailed and stated we understand it should be £25 each and £50 for the policy, but were told thats not correct.
I did nothing as i wanted to wait for my OR's letter. Problem is it took a month and Mrs F's OR was chasing.
My OR asked me for £25, so i sent a copy of this to Mrs F's OR who apologised and changed her mind. Not the 1st mistake, we had paperwork regarding their interest in the property following BR on the new rented address. Again apologised and corrected.
Sorting out postal orders for the 2x £25 this week.
Moral of the story, dont believe everything your told by your OR. They make mistakes and they dont know everything. Check, ask others and query if your not happy woth what they say.
I never did send a letter to the mortagage for the old house as i didn't want the aggro of them trying to get me to sign for early settlement.
I go an pick up the post every couple of weeks. Its a little sad seeing what used to be our garden all overgrown and cobwebs on the door, but whats done's done.
NR have now apointed local solicitors who are (hopefully) issuing repossession proceedings soon, if they are to be believed. Timescale so far approx 5-6 months on no payment and no contact with NR.
Mentally were doing fine. Mrs F has been abit up and down, but thats understandable. It was tough end of last month as we were skint. It was an expensive month and we new it would be, so we saved for it and we just about made it.
New Freezer (unforseen), 2 nights camping in skeggy, Mrs F's b'day, Oldests B'day, new uniform (change of schools) and school holidays are alway more expensive anyway. We made it all, beacuse we saved and we didn't have to borrow.
Now to start saving again for xmas, as xmas saving were needed to help last month.
All in all we all doing OK, could be better, but have been a hell of a lot worse. 3 month BR aniversary in 2 day, time flies, its seems like an lifetime ago.
Again thanks to everyone for there continued support.
 See you on the boards.

            Hi Falze
Just a quick tip, try to get someone to write a cheque for you PO's cost 10% of the value, i.e. 2 x £25 will cost you an extra fiver.
And, as an aside, it always bemuses me how the OR requests a cheque, knowing full well we can't get a cheque book! Perhaps they split the commission with the Post Office, lol!!!Louise0
