The Mrs has just had the 1st contact with the receiver. She said he seem nice (some thing else for me to worry about - green eye monster)

Full apointment for next tuesday (15th) @ 14:00 - He said an hour required. Hoping to do mine around the same time - Two birds and all that.

Waiting for my phone to ring. Sweaty hands.

Must remember to ask about wheather they contact the landlord.

Why hasn't my phone rang yet ??? - I bet they lost my paperwork !!!

    Glass half empty :)

Just had my 1st call from a creditor since BR. We have no Landline, so most probably dont have my mobile number.

Secured Creditor Welcome Finance. Bloke thought i was going to pay him and asked for card details.

I explained i was bankrupt and he had to check what to do next.

I hung on and he wanted to check all information was correct. Payment dates, employer etc. I advised i wouldn't and he said he would pass information on, but expect further calls and letters.

    Feel quite weird

Have finally received my call from OR office.

They said they would not be transfering back to same OR office as Mrs F at this stage, but would if things got complicated !!!

Have arranged interview for 2morrow @ 12.30. Must find a quite space at work to use. At least not too long to worry and i get to go before Mrs F. I can then hopefully pre-warn her of any avenues of conversation.

Lady was very nice and friendly and it is her thats calling me 2morrow.

    Can't wait !!!

On a seperate subject, had a conversation with Black Horse (unsuccured joint debt) and a pleasure to deal with someone who is not an idiot. He knew exactly what to do, check the Insolver Reg (IR if i may) and confirmed he would deal with.

He said might get a few rouge letters, but just ignore them.

    Roll on 2morrow @ 12:30.

OK - I'll keep it brief, i've gotta get home to clean the old house before we lock up for good.

OR Interview went well. 1 hr & 20 mins, but well.

They agreed i could keep my car, they had no interest in the old house and i would be able to buy back the interest in life policy, if wanted.

Went through SOA and they confirmed that 499 is the max for a family of 4 without other reasons, but put up clothing to 142 and tweaked phone up and gas & elec down to total of £99.

All in all i'm happy and the IPA is more than i'd hoped, but less than i'd worked out for budget purposes.

She didn't judge me for being in the position we are in and sympathised.

She said they might contact the landlord, depending on the type of tenancy agreement.

    I'm awaiting a reply.

I feel more relieved now than when i left court.

IPA for 3 years and NT tax code until end of financial year is acceptable.

Just gotta sort out the re-po on the old house.

I'll let them hang for a while.

Just got to coach Mrs F and get her through her OR Interview on Tuesday. Shame its not the same OR.

Speak to you soon, have a good weekend and come on England.

Hiya Faize, diary is a fab idea. Your situation is identical to ours, even being with NR and neg equity. Love your read, please continue as it helps me know what to do and what to expect - great!

    Thanks

    Thanks for the continued support.

Its no coinsidence that NR appear alot here. They were the only ones who would give us a mortgage (linked with secured and unsecured loans as well). The others lenders were probabely right to say we cound't afford it, in hindsight.

I'm not blaming NR for the position we're in, but when you lend amounts to people that no one else will, thats the risk they take.

Beardc02, keep posting and we'll help each other. I'm no expert by a long shot, but i tell you what happens to me and Mrs F. If you want some info that i dont mention, please dont be affraid to send a PM (open to anyone if they wish)

I will be eternally greatful to the kind words, knowledge, help and support on here and i will be around putting back in and helping others who are in similar predicaments.

Have Mrs F's OR interview tommorrow so fingers and toes crossed there. As we have 2 different OR offices dealing with us i hope they dont contradict each other.

Oh yea, had an email from my OR handler today confirming they are not interested in the Tenancy agreement and that they will NOT be contacting the landlord. One down, one to go.
