  • Glad it went well and just as importantly the house is nice.

Bizzare way of dealing with the BR tho but im sure you have absolutely nothing to worry about it being confirmed

    i hope / think not.

The solicitor seemed to think they had a right and this was the best way to do it. No hanging around on the day.

Because we were there early (before opening) we waiting longer outside than it took to deal with us !!!!

Thanks Steve and hope things continue upwards for you. (drive that car carefully or the OH wont be pleased !!)

    OK.

    yesterday was busy.

Went to court, saw a solicitor, did the oath, paid the money & now awaiting confirmation of BR (that took all of 25 mins). Months of planning preparing etc, for 25 mins.

People at the court were very nice and under the circumstances it couldn't have gone better. Its just the waiting thats the thing. We have our BR number, but we are not allowed to use it until we get confirmation from the judge that we've been accepted.

Bit of shopping (new plates, Toothpaste and the like), spot of lunch and picked up the keys to the new rented house.

Not officially moving until Saturday, but moved the kids beds in (they are sleeping at nans currently) and trying to get their rooms sorted 1st.

House very nice, bar the odd bad paint job, damaged shelf and dog doodoo in the garden.

Thanks for all your support and help.

I wont post on the BR Club May yet, as it is still not official.

I'm back at work (one day only - to cover other absenses) and have no internet at new house yet.

Still waiting for confirmation from Courts. I know its been bank holiday weekend, but come on. Will check old house post on way home.

Been there every day to check and since we have moved out we have had nothing. When we were there, letters every day from creditors, not now.

All settled in nicely. House looks nice, cleaner coming this afternoon to clear doggy doo doo.

We did a little work in the garden yesterday, just to make it look presentable.

So nothing really to report, but thought i'd drop in.

COURT HAVE RANG US BOTH - WE ARE NOW OFFICIALLY BANKRUPT.

Even though all we were doing was waiting, its still a weird feeling being official.

Can finally answer the phone again.

Petition came up from the Judge this morning apparently, so were a 3rd June'09 BR'er.

Just emailed council re: No Tax for 6 months while being re-possessed.

Get so much non work stuff done whilst at work.

    Another Hurdle over.

Just gotta wait for the OR to call in the next few days.

Need to make a list of things to ask & dig out the olde SOA we submitted.

12 months max & counting. Looking forward to possible ED !!! ;))
