Quorn sausages, 'chicken' and mince (£1/300g) now at Lidl

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else in the forum, but for the last few weeks our local branch of Lidl in Glasgow has been carrying frozen Quorn products. They appear to be in the main freezer sections, and have been promo'd as 'new' rather than on 'special', suggesting that they might be around to stay (they're also being kept in the main body of the frozen cabinets, not in the end of aisle freezers usually kept for limited specials).

Plus a 300g bag of frozen Quorn mince is £1 this week (marked down from £1.67). :beer:

If, like me, you have trouble finding fake meat products in your neighbourhood I recommend you grab some! Especially as if it sells well it may become a fixed feature.

I'll have to go and pay my local Lidl a visit tomorrow. Not a vegitarian but I prefer Quorn Sausages to any meat variety any day. Quorn Chicken pieces are nice as well, mince is OK.

Would be interested to hear if this promo is available nationally - I know it's here in Scotland, but interested to know if you find them down in England as well.

I commute to Belfast and have noticed that NI Lidl stores generally carry the same promotions as RoI Lidl, not GB stores, but will try and find out if they're available there as well.
