where's the best place to get a pair of converse's these days? I want them either black or navy blue in the "hi-top" style. Debenhams, Schuh and JD all charge £35, they're cheaper on the converse official site but by the time you add shipping it works out about the same.

I ended up at JD in the end but £35 is well worth it, I'll wear them until they fall to bits so if you think about it in terms of paying per wear they're not that expensive.

I found it impossible to find the style and colour I wanted in the shops a few weeks ago (perhaps in London you can find a good range?), but I ended up using the ebay shop 'converse-online', next-day delivery.
