Argos have a Hitachi going for £400 but go elsewhere for the stands, unless you find one cheap. Check for stock too as they seem to be selling out quite quickly. Bound to be offers on in the usual places for the bank holiday weekend too. Picture quality is important, so an HD Ready TV with better colours and blacks would be preferential to a Full HD Ready TV with cack colour and blacks, but obviously 1080p (Full) is preferable and perfectly do-able. I'd recommend Richer Sounds. Also plasmas get slightly hotter than LCD, absolutely nothing to worry about!0
