Things to do with lentils, rice and artichoke hearts!

Options
I have got tons of rice, tons of lentils (all different types) and 2x cans of artichoke hearts in the cupboard needing using up. Any suggestions for recipes I can use them in?

artichoke hearts are lovely mixed with pasta and olive oil...yum!
    :)
  • Had a problem with computer throwing me off so didn't get chance to try these tips...make a lentil dal and bunged some artichoke hearts in. Was nice but I don't think I washed the artichoke hearts properly and they tasted weird, not how they've tasted before when I've had them!

Gonna have pizza for tea tonight so will pop some on a bit of it (just in case I just don't like them!!) - thank for the suggestions x

  • Up until about a month or 2 ago I used to be a pesky vegan - hence why so many lentils still kicking about!!! My big vice is cheese and I found it too hard to give up.

Thanks for all the fab ideas!!

  • Ca I just ask, has anyone tried a lentil lasagne before? I've used lentils in place of meat in chillis and spag bol's so wondered if it'd be the same in a lasagne...found some lasagne sheets that should be used up too so thought I'd mention it!

Artichoke hearts are lovely on pizza. Alternatively I use them in a carbonara style pasta sauce - instead of bacon, throw in the drained artichoke hearts to warm through at the end.
