that was an interesting read.. Its amazing how someone can change so much. Do you feel you may have gone to far over to the money saving side now? I mean worrying about going out because you'll spend £10/£20? Surely once your out of debt you can spare £20 quid and enjoy life a little?
I'm not having a go I think what you have done is great, sometimes I feel people get addicted to scrimping and saving and become tight, ungenerous and basically not fun! I think once your out of debt, and have some money saved... You should live a little!
I have a couple of family members that will only drink tap water and only ever go to the £5 buffet. They are not poor, and have cars and sky, and if they can afford to fuel their car they can buy a drink. It really gets on my nerves that they can be so tight... and then expect others to pay for the drinks! I feel there should always be a balance.
Congrats on what you have achieved tho.0 -
