Afternoon. I've picked up the drum kit, I'm glad I know a tiny bit about them cos he was trying to sell it to me without a key!
Tenmah, the link doesn't work
If it's a 16-18/XL (their sizes) I'll have it!
Going to see the GP this afternoon, need to get my repeat prescription changed to the new dosage, get a letter from her, and just keep her up to date about everything. Also made an appointment for my smear, asked if I can have the coil put in at the same time but I can't. Ok then, can I have an appointment for that? No, I have to have counselling with the nurse first, even though I've discussed it fully with the GP...
Tonight I have book club then the meeting with dad and sister, I really need to think of what I want to say. 'Stop being a totally self absorbed cow who blames everyone else for your problems and can't grow up and take responsibility for your life' doesn't really seem very constructive.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Afternoon all
What a gorgeous day out there today.
Have sat in the garden with DH and started my seeds off....runner beans went in a week or so ago and are already about 3 inches tall. Have done, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce (3 sorts), courgettes, pea and mangetouts....all now safely stored in my mini greenhouse. Let's just hope they all take off."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Jessica was very excited to get some post this morning, it's the BBC Dig In seeds that we applied for :T they sent carrots, salad leaves, courgettes, basil and french beans!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

I got a couple of grow your own kits in wilkinsons the other day, courgettes and red onions, they were only 97p each. Haven't dared open them and do anything with them yet, I have a habit of killing anything green in my flat!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
