I wonder if it's on here, forgot about the cooking one until I did it tonight. Was cooking dinner, we had a guest and I am the messiest cook ever. So even with a pinny on before I put it on I turn my top inside out, then when I am finished cooking turn it back before eating. Saves finding new top before I can have my dinner. One day I might be more organised...........

I can normally cook without making too much of a mess of myself, but if I've got a clean top on I can guarantee I'll spill some food down me....:wave:0 -
This one's probably a bit horrible actually- I use a pin/needle to degunk my razor blades to extend their use [in the bathroom out of sight:D ]
All our cut hair [hairdresser comes to us] goes out on the compost heap. I have read that previous generations used to keep it in a jar on their dressing tables and then use it to stuff pincushions etc. Not one I do [as yet:rotfl: :rotfl: ]

I'm considering getting myself a Tommy Tippee bib (you know the ones with the turn-up at the bottom so you can catch the drips) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Seriously though, it's a shame they don't make adult ones!!!:wave:0 -
They do make adult bibs for adults with special needs. We used to have one cos ex was a nurse, used it with the kids and it was great!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I always split a new washing up liquid into two bottles and add a good few tablespoons of white vinegar to each and shake well. Not only does it go farther, it cuts through grease brilliantly!

When cooking frozen vege, I was add boiling water to the veges bring to the boil with the lid on, then turn the ring off. Veges are always cooked to a turn. It works especially well with peas. Though I usually have to draw the pan off the heat a little.:wave:0
