Ideas for a little box of gifts on our big day

Hi everyone!

I am soooo panicking as the three month countdown begins! I want to do a little show box of small things H2B will need for the big day. He needs aftershave, as we were talking about it this morning and he mentioned his lack of nice smells (not me ha ha).

Also I want to get him some socks so he doesn't get cold feet, a can of Red Bull, and I don't know. Just some other bits to make him smile.

Are you all doing one? And have you had any other little thoughts of things to put in? I like quirky and just want to make him smile

some chewing gum
tissues
A little note about how excited you are
A choccie bar to keep his energy up.
A crochet hook (to get you ot of your dress later!)

oohh I've never heard of this before, I love the idea of making my man smile on the morning of the wedding : )

Ha ha Cleomolly - but you have to make him smile without you actually being there

I'm going to use some of the questions from this and turn it into a scrapbook type thing like this with some photos of us over the years in it. Not really sure what else to do - I was going to send a card to his favourite radio dj's (Adam and Joe) and get them to sign it and return it to me but unfortunately they're not on the radio just at the moment so don't think I'll be able to. Some people write to favourite football clubs and get signed cards back too.

Make up some vouchers - offering massage etc and pop those in - you are only limited by your imagination on these. Maybe put in an apron too..so he knows that he has to share the washing up:rotfl:

I have doen this too....still need to get a couple of bits to go in it before friday tho lol

so far I have
some tissues incase it all gets a bit emotional
chewing gum so we can have a minty first kiss as husband and wife
some deodarant to keep him smelling lovely
a lint roll so he can tidy himself up (this is something I am always making him do lol)
some comfy pj trousers with superman logo all over them, cus I always say he is my superman and I thought he could do with something comfy while we are on honeymoon

I also wrote to top gear and mythbusters and got a couple of signed things for him, so I have done a photo album with photos of us in it and memories from our 8 years together, then I have put the messages in it, then left space for photos from wedding/honeymoon
Also made a thing for the front of the album that says ' big book of memories for my almost husband from your nearly wife' as thats what we have been calling each other for a while now lol

also want to get
little aftershave
lip balm
2 choc bars....one to keep him going through the day, and one for an energy boost when we go to bed lol

Photo of you (cos he wont be seeing you till ceremony) and a packet of love heart sweets, and an almost empty packet of rolos, just leave him your last one

Some of those ideas made me well up! Am sooooo emotional already over it all!

YellowBug - how the hell are you coping!! YOU HAVE DAYS!!!!!! You're chocolate bar thing made me chuckle, I am sure he will have enough energy without it!

Nozzy 0 I have heard of that before, maybe I should try too. Sod it I think I am!! He loves the Top Gear peeps and Jenson Button so think I will give them a pop, oh and Harry Hill ha ha.

Horace - how funny is the apron idea - love it!! I might put some magnolias in. Vouchers deffo. Things like "this voucher entitles you to 1 hour on the Playstation" - only joking I will do some nice ones :rotfl:

Rottweiler - those ideas are lovely, I will deffo do the Rolo with them all gone bar one. And a photo is lovely, I would hope with all the effort he would shed a tear xxx
