Non electric Fragrance diffuser for indoors

Options
We were given a fragrance diffuser for Christmas, you know the sort ...pretty bottle filled with liquid/essence, then you have a set of ´sticks´that sit in the bottle soaking up the liquid and perfuming the air.You can buy them in Zara Home for about10 pounds in the UK, I think. It has been quite effective in our sitting room.
Does anyone know how to make them at home. the ingredients on our one say Ethyl Alchohol, perfume, water, Linalool, hydroxy-citronellal.

Thanks for that, now just have to find a DPG supplier who will sell small quantities of the oil

According to this site you can use sweet almond or safflower oil or even water:

  • My one is about to run out as well, so this is really useful.

Do you think it wil be ok to just re-use the bottle and reeds I already have?

I think it will be OK if you go for the same fragrance, but I would use new reeds and wash the bottle thoroughly if you´re thinking of changing smells
