I did 5 eggs this week and didnt find rolls in any of them! Maybe they dont stock them and its their way of checking if we really check the stock!

I only did one shop that had the rolls. It was south of the border, so I had thought that they might not get stocked in Scotland. I was quite glad to have spotted them at last as I did wonder if I was just missing them. They weren't packaged as I had expected them to be. More like a bag of bagels, if you know what I mean.

Thanks Puzzcat. That clarifies that. I have read the first page numerous times, but there is a massive amount of info on there to remember! Please bear with us newbies, as all we want are simple answers from the experienced shoppers. Sometimes it comes across that us newbies are just a hinderance.:o

Lol i do sometimes feel like a child nagging it's mum in here, until the mum snaps. I don't think i've been on the recieving end of a harsh toned post suggesting to look elswhere but i think thats just luck

Have just noted a nice frittata recipe in my magazine. Will need to pick up some veg on the next couple of shops to pad it out.

I had 4 phone calls from GFK this evening. Not amused by the 4th one, they seem to be madly checking that the jobs for tomorrow are actually going to get done. Having a family crisis at the time so it wasn't what I needed.

I found the rolls once! was very shocked!:eek:

There's no mileage, fee or parking.
It's FFF and (obviously) there's a report to write up.
No regular jobs due to "saturation"

No- I am comparing it favourably to recent RE assignments where I have struggled to cover my costs and ended up using my fee to pay for the meal. There is no fee- but the restaurants are nice. The 3 course meal for two is properly paid for, with wine. You can take extra people and be flexible- using vouchers for instance.And they cover the tip, which always annoys me on some other restaurant jobs.

I too couldn't locate the elusive rolls in any of my egg shops today, think its a red herring! I couldn't locate any of them either

I did find the rolls today in one shop - but they have made an error on form the rolls are sold in a 4 pack not a six and in one shop today they had the offer for the 4 pack
