Slow Cooker Chicken Chassur

Can someone answer a quiery?


I have packet Chicken Chassur Sauce and some chicken legs.

Do i remove the skin and brown or before i put in pot?

Also how long? normal cook says 1 half hours i have a low, high and auto setting on SC.

    Hiya, you need to brown the defrosted chicken in the frying pan for colour. Add sause and any veg to the pot. Cook on high for the first hour and then turn down to low for another 7/8 hours. ENJOY.
    If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.

    Hmm pretty sure you remove the skin or else it can be fatty etc. I would anyway. :) If i am wrong apologies, i don't know what makes me think this.

    just checked my slowcooker recipe book (went into the kitchen 18 minutes ago to check it, forgot as i got totally distracted! )

    My book says remove the skin as the slow cooking can produce too much liquid? If that helps....x

    I think it would be best to remove the skin but you do not have too.
    When I have cooked this dish I use defrosted chicken breasts like a £5 bag from Iceland so skinnless. Julie
