I found a carton of Covent garden tomato & basil soup in the freezer yesterday, took it out to 'make something' and now don't know what to do with it?
Can't go back in freezer and I don't want to eat it as soup.
Any ideas please

Put onto a pizza base, add cheese and topping of your choice? You might need to reduce it on the hob before hand?
Add it to cooked onion and mince as a base for bolognaise? Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Don't fancy pizza. If I use it for a bolognaise sauce won't it taste to sweet??

add some chopped onions, garlic & peppers, a tin of tuna chunks, heat it up gently and then add some cooked pasta mix through and then grate some cheese over the top0

There is a thread which suggests adding balsamic vinegar or worcestershire sauceA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I was also going to suggest using it as a base either for bolognese sauce, or chilli con carne. A dash of lemon juice will remove any sweetness if it's too sweet.0

And no, you cannot refreeze it now it's been frozen once already0

My favourite shop bought soup!
I use it as pizza topping, pasta sauce, yesterday we were having meatballs so I used it as the sauce for that - meatballs (cooked) in a dish, soup poured over, mozzarella on top, baked for 30 mins. Was lovely.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
