Mortgages and CCJ's

Hi everyone !!
Does anybody out there know of any lenders who will give a mortgage to someone who has a CCJ against their name ?? I started my mortgage with the Alliance and Leicester before my CCJ's welcomed me, and now with me wanting to move house, the A & L say that they will not carry my mortgage over to the new house because I have a CCJ or two.
Is there anyone I can turn to for advice ??

How much were the CCJs for? are they satisfied?

what is the purchase price of the new home?
How much are you wanting to borrow against it?

Basically it will depend on the LTV but even if you do find a lender it won't be high street so will be high rates/fees.
  • Hi Andy !!

CCJ 15,000, purchase price 100,000 and borrowing 70,000.

I am amazed at the people who are given hope on here about obtaining mortgages with CCJ's........I guess someone will say it depends on the way you present the case...rolls eyes....

People are being declined on a £15.00 default...

    CCJ 15K............What do you think
  • Looks like I'm knackered then !!

Thanks for your help and advice though .....
