I am so jealous of the American's and their Amazon. They have a thing called the Universal Registry, which means you can add items from any website to a gift list. It is such a good idea, I hate how John Lewis/ Debenhams etc are so expensive. This way you get to shop around and put items on at the best possible price.

I wish there was something similar available in the UK.

thanks for posting the amazon list - i didn't know they had one! Think i might use them now!

Joey although this site is amercan http://www.myregistry.com/ they will let you sent up a list in GBP and you can link to any site at all - no transactions go through the site so your guests money is safe - I was gonna use it but am prefering the amazon.co.uk atm

The UK one only allows you to buy from items sold on the Amazon website. The American one allows you to buy from ANY site.

have you looked at https://www.blisslist.co.uk ? My friend used them and they were very good. I'm going to be using them too for our wedding x

So can you not use the amazon universal in the UK then? surely you can register for it?
