Does the CSA include IVA's

Hi there
I am being assessed again for the first time in 6 or maybe 7 years and since then I am 3 years onto a 5 year IVA.
Do the CSA include an IVA as its gone throogh a court to be agreed?
They are happy to include my car allowance as they see it as income... well they did last time I got assessed... even though I am supposed to be running my car with that...
Anyone know?
Thanks

Am assuming that you are CSA2
You will just get assessed on your bottom line as before. Being on an IVA won't get any reduction for your child support. You will still need to pay your CS plus pay your IVA monthly sum.
If it goes up hugely I guess you could phone your trustee but I doubt if the monthly sum afreed by your creditors could be dropped.
Is that what you were basically asking? I wasn't that sure0 -
Thanks for your reply...
Yes I am CSA2 and you got it exactly right what I was asking....
I saw on the CSA website that they do take certain things into concideration but they did not mention IVA's
If I want to get my IVA company to reduce my payment it would have to go back through the courts which is something I don't really want to do.
I have done the CSA calculator and it looks like my payment wont go up too much as I currently pay £600 ... I dont mind paying but as long as they dont take the micky ...
So thanks again... it was worth asking LOL0 -
You're welcome:D0
