Heated Olive Oil for hair works a treat rather than buying the expensive shop bought intensive treatments, as does leaving normal conditioner on for longer (20 minutes +).

Lush shampoo bars are really good as they last forever (and if you get them as a gift are very DFW)

Or instead of the mooncup you can switch to using depo as a contraceptive and not get periods (or just very light ones) at all. It's not for everyone but it's saved me a fortune in tampons.

Just watch out when you come off it - I recently did and am now starting my second period in three weeks!!!! I literally only finished on June 22 after a seven-dayer, and now am on again!!!

All this talk of Mooncups is making me feel queezy... might suggest it to the missus though as I usually end up buying her bloody tampons - small fortune I can tell you

usually i wait til most of the stuff is on offer like deodorant, toothpaste tampons
also i check out the different shops like boots/semichem/superdrug and the supermarkets as they usually alternate the offers
at the moment im trying to wean myself off expensive beauty products but after winning £150 of john lewis vouchers at my works xmas party i stocked up so should have enough to see me through to later on in the year
also i save up my boots points and then i can either treat myself for something nice or use them for xmas/birthday pressie
