Store cupboard comfort pudding - FAST??!!

Ok so i'm sure i'm not the only person that often fancies a pudding or something comforting after a rubbish day at the office or just generally wanting something incredibly bad for me :D

Are there any recipes out there that are quick, easy and can be made from the basic store cupboard.

Apologies if there is already a thread on this kind of thing - if so can someone point me in the right direction :T

ive had the same craving and just made flap jacks out of some old museli i had. im waiting for it to cool down now, but smells a bit sweet for me to be honest, that was museli, honey, butter (it was low fat spread), sugar

or have you got rice and milk, cook the rice in the milk to make a sort of rice pudding

bread and butter pudding, make some marmalade or jam sandwiches, pour in a couple of eggs that have been whisked up with milk, then put sugar over the top

    sponge pudding

1 egg, 2oz sugar, marg, SR flour put all in a bowl together an mix well - now choose your variety - spotted !!!!!!, treacle, jam, or chocolate

grease a 1pt pudding basin, add the mix, and put in the microwave for 3mins

    ping - eat

  • I am more looking towards something to actually cook and not tinned stuff but thanks for the suggestion NJW69.

I couldn't stand rice pudding as a kid but my tastes have changed more than I care to admit as I have got older so perhaps thats another thing I could give a go at making.......

    Any more ideas?
