Yes want to avoid IPA but if I get one, thats life.
well...one things for sure an IPA will be a whole lot less than you would have paid on debts you had before bankruptcy...and an IPA only lasts 3yrs
but as you said...thats life (why does that sound like a cue for a song)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Hi Matt,
You will get through BR much easier if you are completely honest with the OR
. If you are living with your girlfriend, then you must reflect this in the forms; as she is not the one declaring BR she will not be involved.
On you SOA, put down the whole of your earnings, and your girlfriends contribution. Her contribution is not her full income, it is what remains after she has paid for her own personal expenses such as running her car, her mobile phone etc. Then list as expenses, the full amount of all expenses paid jointly such as rent, electric etc. If you gas & electric is included in your rent, list it as such - if it paid separately, then list that as such. Remember, absolute honesty is the key, whichever way you do it - for instance, you may budget for £50 per month towards a holiday. You could either list this as an expense of £25 in your SOA and reduce your girlfriends contribution by £25, or keep her contribution the same and show £50 as there are two of you. What you can't do is reduce her contribution and also claim the £50 as a joint expense.
The thing to remember is that the OR might ask you to justify some or all of the amounts you state.BSC 2710 -
Matt, unless you are receiving your pension already, or have an unapproved scheme (almost certainly not the case), your pension will not be included in your BR.BSC 2710

I agree with tinytim .... make the pension known to the OR and on the form but it is something else you are paying and they allowed oursIf Carling made web-sites this would proberly be the best website in the world :T

my pension is deducted direct from my salary so my net earnings is after my pension.
Ok think i am clear on what I am doing for SOA. So on my girlfriends income i dont put down the £840 she earns just the contribution to things?0 -
This is where I do not know enough as my circumatances where different as you are co-habiting
I recc you alter the SOA and then put it uo on a new thread and ask for advice then, as this is what I did, just bare in mind that while u r at work there are people like me at home all the time who can bash it arouind as 2 heads+ are better than 1
