Just thought I would let you all know that the works has a winter sale on. They sell Arts & Crafts style stuff for those of you that are making your own invites etc.
I have just got 300 blank invites and the envelopes for £24!!!! :money:
Thay had white, some metalic purples and blues, I'm sure it wll depend on each store but it might be worth a look, they are in clear plastic packagin and have a thin ribbon buddling them together and stickers saying 2 for £8
Good luck!

There is more colour choices on the website, I got some of the card that was 10 for 99p to go inside, it is 80gsm which I know is a papery card.

Can anyone suggest where to get ribbon from? I have find doble satin for 48p but that was on the high street?

I am getting all my cards making bits from Ebay ...but only after i have been into a local craft shop (horribly overpriced!) and had a look at exactly what i want! If you look under "crafts" and then cardmaking/scrapbooking you should find everything you could possibly need...and cos there are so many sellers selling that type of thing, prices are low and auctions end with only 1 bidder etc! ;)

I bought some cards from the Works but found them a bit thin etc - for not extortionately more, i am going to be able to get loads from Ebay which is better quality...... depends what kind of card you want i guess .... but the Works are great for little bargains so good spot!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
