Okay for xmas i was spoilt with Fab cooking books

One of the main ones being Economy Gastronmy ( also got rivercottage everyday , rick steins eastern odessy and hairy bikers tour of britain.)

Any Hoo , I am starting my menu plan tonight and plan on using 2 main ingreadiants to suit 6 meals , with left overs ...


Any preferances , suggestions from u lovely people who already have this fabaroonie book

    Hi dizzybuff,

    I enjoyed the lamb shoulder and the salmon recipes. The shepherds pie from chopped lamb rather than mince was delicious. If you take a look through this thread you'll see other Old Stylers opinions on the recipes in the book:

    I know it's not really a meal, but I got the Rivercottage everyday book for xmas, and have made the carrot cake 4 times already! it's so moist and addictive! so simple to make too, and the resulting cake is enormous! on the last occasion i only made up half the recipe and put it in a loaf tin instead, and it was just as good!
