Funny things happening with Lloyd's Accounts

Hi,
Has anyone been having any problems with Lloyds lately?
The account which all bills get paid out of had recently has 2 DD/Standing orders cancelled NOT by us, and not by bank (so they say!) one for Scottish Power and 1 for Scottish Provident.
This concerns me for quite a few reasons
1. We've had identity fraud on this account before and had £10K stolen from account (got it back-don't worry, but still have issues with the account nearly 2 years later)
2.I'm on a DMP with CCCS and we took my name off the account in the hopes that any money I owed wouldn't be drawn for this account (as it is for paying bills only)
3.WHY? There is money in the account and all other payments have been coming out fine!

Lloyd's (via a VERY long distance phone call) has assured us 'that NO ONE has access to the accounts' (heard THAT one before) and no one seems to know what's going on!

Can anyone shed any light?

I've had D/Ds deleted automatically by LTSB if they haven't been used for a year. I don't suppose that's the explanation?

Might be worth asking LTSB to open a new account with new account number and transfer D/Ds and S/Os.

Hi,
Both are monthly payments...but very strange still!
WE're in the process of changing accounts, frankly, the lack of security is just too worrying! (and we want accounts that me and my CRAP credit rating have no link to!!!!!)

It might not be Lloyds that are deleting them, but the companies themselves (ie. Scottish Power, etc).

Had this happen to my account recently (also Lloyds) and phoned the supplier as I was concerned - to find out it was the supplier updating their computer systems and I was assured the DD would still be taken on its normal date and it would re-appear. It did. Phew!

I'd give Scottish Power and Scottish Provident a ring, advise them that the DDs have disappeared and have they done something at their end for this to happen. If not, ask them to set them back up for you anyway, as it's not something you can do (you can with SOs but not DDs, suppliers have to do it).
