'Mystery' CCJ
Don't know if anyone can shed any light on this for me but I'm stumped! 
Last week I went to buy a new car for my wife. The car was £6,000 and I wanted to apply for car finance. My credit rating is quite good so I was expecting a positive result. However, I was told that I had been refused bacuase there was a CCJ against me! :eek: Now this was a complete shock to me because I knew nothing about a CCJ!
A bit surprised I have since been online and got both my Experian and Equifax credit reports. Neither show anything about any CCJ. There isn't even a default on there! Where could the finance company be getting this information from? Is there someone I can report this to to try and get it sorted?

Write to or phone the finance company for clarification. It could be a simple keying error but only they can tell you.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
