Hi Mrs A, well done on getting the family on board - stick to your guns!! Might even be good for everyone to get in on the menu planner, and help the kids learn that money doesn't grow on trees!

Let us know how the shopping went.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

great news im so proud of myself
we all trailed around tesco tonight after the family party (in true dfw style i should have taken home a doggy bag, will remember that for next time). everyone looked despondent at the meagre contents of the trolley i only spent £18.97 then got a pound off cos i used a voucher from the freebies board so £17.97 for a whole week. what a shocker i can normally spend that when i nip in for milk!!!!!!!!
cheered me up ever so much i can tell you
    regards

Just a thought on the gym, if you really dont want to go anymore I'd try harder to get them to cancel it. You could even say you're moving to the Outer-Hebridies or something.

    hi
well its absolutely tipping it down here on my holidays at home from work
so i thought i would start tidying up in my bedroom to see if i could find some treasures for ebay etc.
as well as the treasures i have found 7 rechargeable AA batteries (they still work)
    9 unused tampons
    1 packet of chewing gum
    1 five pound note
    and 48p in loose change
    cheered me up no end
    regards

Just think - if you can tidy up another couple of rooms & find some more cash, thats almost a week's shopping money! :D

Maybe the MrA's will come round after the Tesco trip & menu plan -i honeslty think that men have a much thicker skin, but once you get through it, they will be 100% behind you.

Chin up - did your grandaughter like her new doll?!;)

hello i have some fabulous news!!!
today i have had my first ever NO SPEND DAY i cant really believe it but it feels great.
and i was offered the chance to work this afternoon on a very very part time 2nd job i have, and in true dfw style i accepted and was offered another 7 and a half hours tomorrow yee haa
Mr A is not best pleased that im using our holidays with me working but my arguement is we cant afford to go out and the weathers so bad anyway and im getting paid for it so its a win win situation. the menu plan for tonight was excellent and they all really enjoyed thier evening meals
    result all round
i think things might be finally looking up after a horrible week
by the way the granddaughter loved her new dolly
    regards

    morning
not much to report today listed a few books on amazon but they seem to be going for silly prices aw well better in someone elses cupboard than mine.
getting the household management folder together nicely now maybe all the other A's in the house might even manage to follow it one day.
weather is still a shocker here rain rain and more rain which is making us all feel a tad depressed. off to work later for that extra shift hey ho cant be bothered but its all money at the end of the day. i dream of owning my own knitting sewing shop like obi how lucky she is
    regards
