Well on the basis that every little bit helps I am starting the new £2 savers challenge, Savers old and new are welcome! I will give everyone a number. I have never run a challenge before so wish me luck!

The Idea

You save every £2 pound coin you get your grubby little mitts on. They do tend to hide and I have been moved to ask specifically for them in my change when things were looking a bit grim in the Penguin pot ( I save mine a Penguin shaped money box)

If you want to save in a bank account obviously you can, either by paying in your two pound coins or saving £2 each month/week etc. We are very flexiable, just join in the chat and the support.

I know for some saving when in debt is silly but I personally saved (in various places) for Christmas this year and have done it without adding to the debt(first time in years). I also put my £1 pot towards the Credit cards, I really believe it all helps. I will pay this years pot towards the last CC bill (36 quid:o I did borrow some for emergency milk, chocolate and cabs!)

You can save for what ever you want and how ever much you want. I hope when I get to 50 quid to pay it off my loan.
