Credit & IVA's

Sorry if this has been posted before, but about 4 years ago we started on the slippery slope of getting an IVA (due to a failed business). This was paid off in full 2 years ago and we have written to Experian et al to update our records. We have also gone on the electoral roll where we currently rent, and in Jan 10 we will have been moved away from the property were the IVA was registered under. We have kept our credit nose clear all this time.

Were do we stand regards importantly Mortgage & Credit Cards

Mortgages you are likely to struggle at the moment. You might be able to get one but rates will be high and large deposit will be needed likely.

You say we...do you mean spouse too? Both go into the IVA I assume?

At that LTV with the adverse HSBC will be a straight decline.
Not sure why they shouldn't be 'money grabbing' given they are a business rather than a charity.
