Leanne's Debt Diary

Hi Leanne
Just wanted to say welcome and well done on starting yout diary. I've not much to add as the usual place people would find savings is in the things like utility bills and grocery shopping which there's none of here. But, as others have said make sure you are getting the best deals for what you do contribute to (e.g. mobile phone, car insurance etc).
You do have a number of smaller creditors and provided your DMP will allow it I must confess that I have been finding paying off the smaller debts to be a massive boost psychologically so it might be worth looking into.
Other than that, I second others in saying keep track of what you spend each day by writing it down in a diary. It sounds hackneyed I know but you really will be amazed by how much you just fritter away and conveniently forget about (I forgot about three cornettos last week!).
Good luck with everything, and keep us posted!Debt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
