As long as the name of the business and people arent identified personally, there is no issue.

AJ2703 can I ask you to please be respectful and not to insult the people who are taking time out of the busy lives to offer my father advice.

Fortunatly, my dad learnt from experience in this role, to document everything - which he has done, so that should be useful going forward.

    Thanks

I'm glad to hear your dad has all the relevant correspondence, it's a very valuable tool.

I don’t mean to sound cynical here however I would advice that he does not discuss the details of his case with any other company employees or anyone connected with the company, no matter how friendly his relationship is with these individuals. He needs to remain 100% professional, he has a long lonely road ahead of him.

    Kind Regards
    Gerry x;)

I am quite willing to give you the fact of the case thus far, but I am a bit wary in case it goes further, can this thread be used against him any way?

No - don't give any details f they are specific and can be used to identify. You don't want to discredit any argument or case you may have.

It certainly can be used if a tribunal case is on the cards. Plus, if the employer becomes aware of it, then they'll know what steps you're planning.

The only thing I'd like to add is that the OP 'should not' know the details of the previous incident, as the Dad could be breaking company rules by discussing confidential information.

God you sound like the most boring person on the planet.

Don't let gerryscot hear you say that or she will come thundering down on you from her moral high ground and bore you into submission.

(i agree totally with you btw)

I’m not here to entertain you!!!

Do you have nothing constructive to append other than insulting other posters?

    Threads like this are pointless

Until the OP is willing to give us the full facts of the incident he thinks this is surrounding we can't determine whether there are just grounds for 1)Suspension, 2) Discliplinary and 3) Dismissal

Tbh too many people on here jump on the bandwagon though. The employer may not be a bully but being perfectly reasonable.

So why do you bother responding? If all these threads are THAT pointless; then don't bother yourself. If all these employers are all in the right, then the process and procedure will see them through, won't it?

I'm sure you have got much more important things to be getting on with, than just coming on here with the same old nonsense; haven't you?

    Why?

As long as its purely social the employer can't do anything.

Come on and share the circumstances please. There is no harm to your father in doing so.

Whilst you may find it amusing to sit here on a Saturday afternoon playing with yourself whilst spouting tripe on the internet, please try and be a little more intelligent with the threads you choose pick to talk claptrap on.

Giving such stupid responses is dangerous and could end up costing jobs and/or money. No one could actually be that thick, so it can only be that you're posting such things for amusement?

    You're not funny.

I think it is one thing to dowse other peoples hopes with your inevitable negativity. It is quite another to egg them on to post details which, while there may be no valid reason not to post, could nevertheless cause more grief.
