95 pence store

Hi.
I was just checking my ministry of deals email and saw they have another website.

http://www.95pence.com/

I have had a bit of a look round. Some good buys but it looks like a fair bit is out of stock. It is normal 99p store stuff- some of it bigger bargains than others.

What did look good is that it states postage is free if you buy 16 items saving you £1.95.

Thought £1.95 wasn't too bad for postage if you buy less than 16.

Fingers crossed it helps someone out with a few stocking fillers.
Make 11,000 in 2011- £7237.23/£11,000

  • Just did a search here for this site - looks ok online, standard poundland stuff, but worth a punt if you have a big kitchen/laundry/cleaning stuff shop in mind!

Anyone used it here? Any comments or reviews? :)

The baby bottle top is called a nipple in the U.S. Maybe that item is a closeout of something created for sale in the States, or made by a company elsewhere that makes things for the States and thought the term was the same in all English-speaking countries.

Agreed, but if you're going to point such a thing out, it's best to make sure your own English is flawless and there is a rather glaring omission of a comma in your sentence above (in my opinion, anyway). ;)

I have used the 95p site and had no problems whatsoever (though you sometimes get what you pay for - the picture hooks I bought, bend when you try to hammer them into the wall - though we do have an old bungalow with proper brick walls, would probably be OK in a new build). I bought from them a few months ago and a lot of stuff was out of stock then; I e-mailed them to ask when they re-stock so that I would know when to check the website again but didn't receive a reply.

I used this site on Sunday after following a link from Ministry of Deals. I ordered about 10 quids worth of stuff just to test the site out. Once I'd entered my credit card details the page took ages to go to the next stage - confirmation of order. I waited and waited but nothing happened. I gave up and emailed them immediately to find out if the order had been received.

I never did receive an answer to my email but the goodies arrived on Tuesday which was a most impressive speed!

So it seems that they obviously don't respond to emails (another poster didn't receive any response) so whilst I was pleased with my purchases - well, I didn't expect much for 95p but the Astonish cleaner I bought was full sized and a real bargain and the other stuff was just fun, if there'd been a real problem I would be worried about the lack of communication :o
    I don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?
    Don't worry, I'm working on it! :p
