I know this sounds bizarre but a few years ago my friend got married + as a suprise invited her fellas fave footie team + the queen to their wedding!! Obviously she knew they'd never attend in a million years BUT she received fab RSVPs with autographs etc that she then framed as as a gift for hubby!
Just wondered if anyone is planning to do this + what on earth you would write?! x

My cousin did this for her husband - he's a massive Arsenal fan so she wrote to Arsene Wenger, who wrote a lovely letter back!!
 It's in a frame and I'm sure has pride of place (well, after the wedding photos!)Slimming World member - started 13 January 2010Starting weight: 11st 4.5lbs :eek:/ Current weight 11stMini Goal 1: 10st 11.5lbs (1/2 stone)10% Goal: 10st 2.5lbsMini Goal 2: 9st 9.5lbsGoal weight: 9st / 2.5lbs to MG1!0

i have written to a few of other halfs fav tv shows, teams etc and explained he is a huge fan and could they possibly write something back, or send a signed photo
I have had a couple of responses (one that I am really really excited about)
Im going to do him a box of stuff for the morning of the wedding (little things like some nice new pants, and socks, some chocolate, a can of drink etc and these letters - probably framed) each thing will have a little note from me to him on it to explain why its there (socks for his cold feet etc)
Im hoping he will love it, as its taking quite a lot of putting together lolMarried on 5th March 2010still lurking on the wedding board tho :rotfl:0

That's a good idea about doing a box of bits for the big day!! Football club wise should i send the actual invite with a covering letter to i'm guessing the manager of the club? (liverpool)
 Thanks in advance x0
