I didn't win!!

So, now I have finally remembered my log in details. I have been comping since August/September and nada....not even a bag of chips
I don't enter through direct links from the site, I enter lots of competitions, only for things I'd find useful though and I fill out forms properly...Am I just unlucky?! Most likely! Anyone else have a permenent dry spell?

Enter more competitions and use a form filler like roboform. Dry spells are normal xxx

I feel like that it is very disheartening not winning, I mean you are really really pleased for the winners's (especially one's on MSE!!), but it feel's like you will never win,:mad:

Suppose it's a case of accepting we do it as a hobby - not to kit out our homes or win free stuff 3 times a day. Yep, it does happen - but not on a daily basis. I suppose we can't help but feel frustrated, but you have to think of it long-term. I've been very lucky so far, but it tends to be just one win per month for me. I'm looking forward to my next 'big' win. Trying not to care if I don't win a DVD (when I've entered every day for a month on a daily!) or a mascara (when they've given away about 3000 of the damn things!). I reckon you're due a big win so just sit tight and keep comping. Are you entering tonnes? I do... but it's certainly no guarantee! Don't worry about links through the site. People have won on most things here without opening things separately. It's more the specialist companies that might have traces on where entries have come from. GMTV winners, for example, have won through links on here.

If you're only entering what you want, you're probably more like me. I do all the DVDs I want (not the others), and I don't do all the 'little' ones (like for chips, etc!) - so when you see all these other people winning all the time, question whether you would actually have entered it in the first place. More often than not, I wouldn't have.

Also, some say you have more chance of winning through 'hard to enter' comps - or postal/text ones. I don't have time for them most days, but it might be worth looking into.

Keep at it. That big win is just round the corner! Even if you won one fantastic holiday a year, it would be great, yeah? So stick with it and keep everything crossed!

ive entered thousands of comps over the past 15 months and not won a single thing

i entered one competition, which allowed multiple entries, approximately 3000 times and still didnt win one of the multiple prizes on offer

I only enter for the things I need, hence my very dryish spell. I won a voucher for a couple of duvets this year , which was very much needed:D I tend to enter for things for the home, I would love to win some money towards my debts, so here's keeping my fingers crossed. As everyone have just said, keep plugging away at it, your luck will change!!

Jo Jo alot of competitions wouldnt have ended yet an those that have may only just be sending out those winning emails. I won a CD from a competition which ended in early August and only found out a few days ago.

I have won tickets and an annual merlin card so far this year and a camera in November. I enter lots of competitions but every win I have had this year have come from radio stations so make sure you do there comps.

I have only just started comping (beg November) and I have to say it is pretty addictive. I enter as many as I can prioritising the ones ending soonest and the ones I really want to win.

I am just waiting for that day when I get a winning e-mail or a random Parcel Force note pushed through the door

I guess as people have said on here it is a case of plugging away at as many as you can and your time will come, hopefully sooner rather than later for me

So far I have won 3 x fridge magnets from Innocent which the kids and nephews love so it was pleasing to hand those over (plus I like writing dodgy words on the fridge to annoy the missus ).

It does get disheartening when you see everyone winning and nothing for yourself.

I've been doing it for 3/4 week so far and won a bag of chips and a John Smiths t-shirt so far.

I started doing a spreadsheet of what I've done in the past week just so that I know what I have done so I don't repeat doing them again. I must admit in past week got 315 on my sheet so far and some have ended so fingers crossed.

I keep waiting for postman to come and it's awful when he doesn't even come but I keep thinking my time will come and oh boy will I feel on top of the world if I do win something decent.

I enter for things that I want or if it's something which is too young for my son I will donate to PDSA or as presents to my close ones.

I guess most people have a drought when they don't win anything and we never know we might all have a winning streak at some point and in the mean time we will have to keep comping and keep our fingers and everything else crossed.

You just have to keep at it. I have had dry spells and am not winning much at the moment. It does get to you some times though especially if you see someone win the one thing you really really wanted to win.
I have won quite a lot of little things but I only enter the comps either my family & I or my friends could use including DVDs and don't just enter all of them.
You'll get a win soon, like someone already said a lot of the comps are only just finishing so keep your fingers crossed.
