prepaid card abroad

hi everybody i know this has been asked before, my parents have offered to pay for a flight to there place in spain,however we need to hire a car once we get there.i have read on the net that most prepaid c.c.will not be accepted for car hire abroad..so does any peeps here know any that do and have actually used one as when you pick your car up they usually take the details of your c.c.incase you have an accident e.t.c. regards penny x

The only one that I know of is the Cashplus, but you have to ask them to add the facility, it won't automatically be accepted.
