why can't I get a loan?

I have applied for a loan and have been turned down. I always pay my credit card and have very little debt.
The only thing I can think of is maybe the amount of times I have moved jobs and home in the past 2 years - does this make a big difference?

I am just hitting a brick wall right now - having done all my calculations I know this loan would make things so much easier and more managable for me, yet no one will help me! It frustrates me that I can obviously afford it (I quote the bank!) yet I STILL can't get a loan.

Can I write to financial ombundsman and explain about moving homes and jobs? Will this help me at all?

Writing to the Ombudsman would be a waste of your time. The banks can decide to decline business if they wish.

Thing is they may be doing you a favour in the long run.

IF you clear your CC and have very little debt... How is a loan going to make things more manageable??

You will be saddled with paying even more out each month and returning much more money than you borrow
