Getting the Groom's suit made

There have been some great posts about getting wedding dresses made - what I wanted to know was about getting the groom's suit sewn. My groom is only 4 foot tall so would need to get something specially made. I know of asuitthatfits.com but I wanted to know if there are any other places he can get a suit made cheaply.
Thanks

Why do you need to get it specially made? Wouldn't a child's suit suffice?0

Alarafan..there is a tailor in Birmingham on Suffolk Street Queensway (the road that runs between broad street and bristol street) called Callaghans..they are one of the oldest tailors in Birmingham - tel. 0121 643 7334. I can tell you now that they charge £800 to make a suit but they will alter the suit as the man gets fatter or thinner, plus he will never need to buy another suit. (I know their price because I went and asked). There are now only 3 tailors in Birmingham whereas there used to be 34.0

You need to source a tailor. Think it's a great idea to have a bespoke grooms outfit. I am currently making a 3 piece for a 9 month old.0

With respect, I think it is more of a case of the disappearing market that has forced people out of the trade. With the availability of off the peg suits made overseas in all of the department stores for silly prices, very few people are going to continue to buy tailor made.0 -
I can reccomend a suit that fits. I got my wedding suit made from them. A great service. I went and got measured in London, got a good friendly service and very professional.
The suit is well made, I went back to London to collect it and try it on to make it fitted correctly. It took excatly how long they said it would.
A tailor made suit feels really different to normal off the peg suits, it is great. Also if you get a normal looking suit then you have a suit for a nice long time for most occasions.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
