My Hubby and I always wanted to try contact lenses to use under our face masks for scuba diving. We got a free assement from Boots about this time last year got the free trial lenses and they worked perfectly so now we use them all the time underwater.

The service was brilliant, your eyes will be tested, lenses will be provided if your suitable for them and you will be shown how to fit and remove them properly. You are then asked to go away and try them for a week, building up wearing them from an hour up to 8 hrs. They will then check your eyes again to make sure you are not having any eye health problems. They will also tweek the prescription if you feel its not exactly right. I use the Bifocal type and they work amazingly well!
It is then up to you whether you continue and buy futher supplies. We felt no pressure to continue, no hard sell.

I got 10 pairs of daily lenses to try - haven't gone to the opticians visit followup yet (about 2 weeks after you're given the lenses) - so far I think its gone very well

im currently on the specsavers trial, but not feeling it! gonna try the boots one. can i give boots my specsavers contact lens prescription or I gotta do the whole thing again?
