Dear everyone,
As I have just been paid, I thought it would be a good time to update.
So far, thanks to everyone's advice I have:
paid off the capital one debt completely
Paid off some of the egg and the virgin one
opened a bank account that I can keep grocery money and travel money in
Applied to work for AQA for a bit of extra money
Started selling all my old paperbacks on Amazon (made £20 so far , which went towards the egg cc)
Am going to try and sell £50 worth of stuff on ebay.
Also, my flat mates are moving out soon and I have decided to stay and find new flat mates (rented house) . I am going to increase their room rents and reduce mine to £260 (I have spoken to my estate agent and they are happy with this) This means that from mid August I will have an extra £152.50 to pay towards my debt and then towards saving for my own flat!
Will continue to keep you posted but thanks for all your help esp with the snowballing !!!0
