Cheap mp3's?

I hope this is in the right place and that no one has already spotted this, apologies if they have. I have been looking at this site for cheap mp3's

They seem to offer the cheapest mp3's on the market, there is an article in the sunday times at

I was just wondering if this site was ok and if there where any implications that people have come up against in using it.

A friend of mine uses this site, very cheap, they haven’t abused his credit card, but one has to ask can music be purchased so cheaply and be legitimate?????

There is also http://mp3search.ru which can be topped up by telephone (dialing a premium rate number) if you don't want to use your credit card.

These sites are 100% legal because of a loophole in Russian copyright law, the RIAA and others have looked into trying to get them shut down, I believe they may even have started legal action against one of the sites but they later withdrew the action or it was dismissed at a very early stage in the Russian courts.

I think it's the same kind of loophole which allows that Swedish torrent site to stay in operation despite numerous letters and threats from Microsoft, RIAA, MPAA, et all!
