DCA's chasing even when in a payment agreement

    Thanks all,

There's already a default on the loan. I don't have the CCA, I'm looking into that now, I've a feeling it's post the 2007 cut off point. The last letter I sent to both the AA and DCA pointed out their breach of the OFT guidelines. The AA also have the details of my proposed new offer but no word back directly from them as yet.

Just to complicate the matter further, I received another letter from Blair, Oliver and Scott today (dated the day after they sent their computer generated nasty one) accepting my token monthly payment (which is already in place with The AA  and not the aim of my letter pointing out their breaches at all!)

It tells me to pay them directly now and they are acting on behalf of their client Bank of Scotland (who I believe powers the AA financial bit). I'm going to try and dig a little today and find out if The AA have passed the debt on or not. I don't want to stop paying the AA and jeopardise our agreement because no one seems to want to tell me who owns the debt!

They aim to confuse I think.

In which case, you need to dig that and the termination letter out and scan them so that we can check whether it is legally complaint. If they are not, then you can prevent legal action.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
