Erm, maybe a little too much info but well done you! At least there's a positive side to your bug I suppose!fishface-69 wrote:Oh one last thing a nutter in the 40 minute post office que told me loudly, that I had nice T**ts!! while eyeing them up closely (not that you could miss them!!)..very funny in the retelling at work but nearly died in the cue! (?sp!) just thought that might make you chuccle...bless him!
Hahaha - that made me laugh out loud at so many different points! It's very benevolent of you to say "bless him". I think I would have been more than a little bit freaked out but you're obviously a nicer person than I!!!
How's it going this weekend? Any resolution on the eBay malarkey?Debt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

hurroo! This is turning into the Mol/fish thread!! Not a complaint mol! Ebay...the guy sent me a much nice email today and apologised for accusing me of buyers remorse and I explained why I had refunded him as he couldnt understand. Sent me a link to his website as "evidence" that hes a nice bloke - he sure looks like on! Did a charity event that took moths, dangerous and extremely self sacrificing so now i feel awful but as an apolgy may make a donation to the charity...Have listed a few (8) more bits and have to say find it a faff/exhasting but beggers cant be choosers so have just been digging in & getting on with it & trying to take joy from the dosh! Been doing more quido stuff and got £13 (which I will offer to mum as she paid for the holiday!!) but not quite got the hang of it...I get the fact that its a protal but how do you know which ones you get dosh for by just looking at them? Any help appreciated!
All in all feeling OK and still waiting to hear whether I can do second work...tax etc is going to be a major faff but not much I can do about that - a case again of just getting on with it. Boy have I learned my lesson! I will NEVER, EVER, go back to the way I was before with spending. ABSOLUTELY, 100%, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Being a reformed character is quite funny though!! Its like getting used to a new me and I keep surprising myself!! ie no shame in doing car boot, picking money up on floor etc!! Mind you I prefer the new version and wont loose the generous things - just do it smaller...as for the knickers they said the same in work!! Just me being open I guess and come on...its not like they were dirty or anything!!! I was just so excited about buying something luxurious that I couldnt help sharing!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Feeling Ok but need positive vibes that the diving gear goes as no bids so far and 2 days to go with only 3 watchers...All in all feel very encouraged that what I've spent is currently £100 less than income (ie additional income outstripped outgoings) I am feeling a bit discouraged with this diary as very few comments about what are hugely life changing steps for me! Partly because I make a concerted effort to encourage others on their journey and it also makes me wonder is my diary that dull as to not be worthy of even passing comment!! Possibly just tired but feel a bit tearful about it...anyway...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Hey you,
Don't be downheartd, you're doing really well. The thing with the pants - Extreme Moneysaving!! I should do that too, actually. I have some not-so-white tshirts that got stuck in with a blue towel, and now they look like an old womans blue rinse.
I'm getting a bit downhearted with ebay/amazon too. After an initial flurry it all seems very quiet! Still, even if something only goes at a bit less than we wanted, at least it's money we didin't have before, and the stuff's gone!
Well done on not wanting to go back to how you were. You've paid off 2 cards and 500 of the next - how much is that in total then? Bet it's a fair whack. So don't worry hunny, things are going really well for you. Victory dance on the income being more than outgoings!
Keep well love. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hey fish,
I read your diary every day - and LOVE it - so sorry I don't always respond - sometimes I just have 10 mins a day on MSE otherwise I can't get any work/housework done/eat anything!
You are doing really well - keep it up chick! I am slowly trying to lift myself out of my slump - its happening slowly! I am very despondent with eBay at the moment - I seem to have sold all the good stuff and now its pennies here and there and scrabbling around to pay the fees - so no use really. I have also done 2 car boots in the last 10 days and made about £20 profit (seriously) after costs. I think I'm going to take the stuff to the charity shop as I'm so tired of looking at it!
