Hi all
Been a busy day sorting & not too much spent! Had a cracking migraine but managed a couple of house sorting at the allotment. The guy who has been helping is a trooper & has now taken 1/2 the top off so the rest covered in black plastic to kill the weeds. Am all packed & ready to go to france tomorrow for my bros wedding. Back next week. Hope you all have a good few days. Big hugs ffNerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Hey fishy, I was thinking that I hadn't seen you posting for a while but have remembered that you're being all continental right now! Hope you're having a fantastic time!!
Ali - I feel really bad that we all seem to have given up on the weebling. I hope you're not offended by it. Things are just a little too pressurised for me at the moment and I'm finding little time to eat, let alone eat healthily.
Anyway, just checking in. Hope everyone's okay!

I have only one word and it begins with an F. Got home from wedding which was lovely with the exception of some underlying family "stuff". Home to allotment that is coming on (been digging tonight & shattered!). Bad news is that CC's £4411.60 (ie up so will now change sig!). Slightly out of touch with whats in my account so need to have a sort & feel slightly panicked! (breathe!) A good thing though as will now be a good DFW & get back on track as have been a very bad DFW of late so this has been the kick up the but that I needed! I know I will gets ome money back from insurance & thats put plans out but still higher than I would like. Quite looking forward to getting back into routine. Have missed you all & incredible how quickly you get off track when you dont have contact. I must confess that I would have spent (hangs head in shame) £37 on a tea pot (gorgeous, moroccan & cast iron) had the shop been open & feel very "old me" which is not good! Luckily shop was shut (thought i would have a few days to think & didnt know much closed on Monday in France so had not compleatly lost my sensiblity!!) & I return home teapotless & realising how stupid I was to even think pf paying that much for a teapot, howver gorgeous it may be! Hope you're all OK. THanks for little messages, nice to know I was a wee bit missed & look forward to catching up on you all! Big hugs ff!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! 37 quid on a teapot!!!????? ooooh, the money saving gods are angry!!!! We'll all be struck down - especially you, hiding under your cast iron teapot!
I'm kidding - at least you recognised the spending behaviour. Ouchy @ cc, but if you enjoyed spending it, and don;t mind the extra few months in debt then it's not a bad thing. We missed you love, glad you had fun. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Yay! Fishy's back!! :T :j
I think the shop being closed was the money saving gods divine intervention. Their way of recognising that you've worked hard to be a debt free wannabe but that you need to get back on track!
That, or it was just plain lucky!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Ah Ali, it must have been the beret, stripy top, fake moustache and string of onions which disguised you so well. Nice work!! :TDebt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96
