hey scottish it is simular but my diamonds are baguette diamonds - ie long & thin but otherwise v. sim!! Clearly you have exquisite taste. Thanks Eltan - have no doubt & still cant stop looking at it!! Had another disasterous day DFW style. Got my pescrip for glasses & got 2 pairs for £99- cheaper than getting others redone. Optician refunded the pescription charge but said there had been a computer error & it has printed my old pescription not the new one ...that may be so (but quite convenient) but fact is I had to have 3 eye tests in a week because of the error. Waiting to see what they will do before deciding what I do next. At least I got the test refunded. Then got some tops (all mine been shrunk in the washing machine saga) as getting cold again...Must stop spending money as it feels like its going out like water at the moment! Going for a no spender tomorrow! Going to have a wee kip as pooped & back is agony....hope you all OK?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi all,
Been a busy few days & today is my 37th birthday! Took the bull by the horns & got an allotment plot, one of the few left in Cardiff it would seem! Its huge - 88 feet by 24 feet so a long term project but one I hope will keep me out of shopping trouble! Having said that have had some intial outlay with tools bt my mum has given me a shed for my birthday & christmas pressie & also trying to get stuff from car boots & freecycle to keep it cheap! V. exciting & dug my first bit today! Realised quickly why you rarely see a fat gardener cos its HARD work!! Feel nicely shattered so going to bed but just wanted to share my news! Feels like a life changing moment IYKIWM? Have great plans for a lovely flower bit at the front, path through the middle & veggies at the back - my own oasis in a busy city!! Hope you all doing OK as been quiet on here? Dont forget votes - so far only had 1!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Hey fishy. Hope you had a wicked day yesterday. I started a happy birthday thread for you, I hope you don't mind me sharing (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=253820)
The ring is lovely. So glad you went ahead and got it made. Its something to remember your granny by and thus is worth every penny. I'm sorry I wasn't about to help with the picture, I went to see my mum at the weekend as she still isn't doing too well.
The allotment sounds like an amazing idea. My OHs parents have got a modest vegetable patch in their gardem but it doesn't half produce some amazing veg. And much cheapness too. Also, don't they say that gardening is a good form of excercise? You'll be losing weight to boot. Sounds like fab news to me!! :T

Hello ladies!
Remember to vote! Email fishy with your votes by the end of the week.
I have totally fallen off the wagon this week - its been a real pig of a week - for some reason I am super tired and I've taken on some extra work locally which is taking much longer than expected and in a wedding order I posted out, some got smashed and I have to redo. I am feeling the pressure and things are getting on top of me a bit - next week will be much better.
So diet has gone toodle-oo. Trying to brace myself for YET ANOTHER restart but its so hard to find that first week enthusiasm time and time again. So no weigh in from me this week.
Great news on your allotment fishy - gosh you didn't have to wait long! Hope you had a lovely birthday.
