wow thats great Eltan, well done! Usually people loose more the first couple of weeks so wouldnt worry if I were you!! Jst enjoy it while it lasts!! Have had a mixed day. Went to osteopath this am for more clicks, then to look at what nicked from car (parking vouchers & fortunately empty cd cases) & then to town to try & get something for bros wedding. My latest 1000 came in so had a bit of a splurge (monsoon skirt (its beautiful)for wedding, M&S navy linen trousers & evans top) & the rest will go to cc. On way home stopped into bank to get their 0% CC to be told that despite not being o/d since acc opened, credit search ok & being over 2000 in credit & allowed a 3000 o/d (which I havent taken them up on) they will not give me a cc because the system doesent like the way my account is run!! Told the manager if they dont the account can easily go elsewhere!! Ironic isnt it that financially I've been better off now than ever & yet they say no. As I type manager (bless him) has just rung to say its due to length of time associated with the bank but I was offered the CC when I opened account so that argument doesnt stand up so he's investigating again cos he knew I was worried which is v. sweet of him! AHHHHHH. Wish I'd just used an existing card to transfer the 700remaining balance to....anyway. Am off to hoover, clean & tidy (paperwork everywhere!!) & then chill this eve...hugs all & hope the weebles are all well...also off to ask Mrs A to join us if she would like!

  • Hey everyone,

Still chipping away at the diet - its hard though - there seem to be bad foods everywhere just now for me! I am good all day everyday but then have bad food at night - I just want to eat in the evenings. Still making sensible choices though, but I think I'm eating far too much. Grrrr...

I kind of figure its like the debt - I need to get into a plan for life - both weight loss and my journey to be debt free are gonna be slow burners - its boring, but true!

    Thanks for the graph Mol!

    Luv

Was having a lovely day...car passed MOT (£60 left for fun money!!) so went to town to try & get something for bros wedding in sept but too weeblish to find anything. Has a lovely hari cut (found a good hairdresser AT LAST!!) & on my way home when youngish bloke just pulled out of junction....couldnt avoid hitting him so did & now poor car (whose birthday it is tomorrow :() has whole right wing smashed, all lights & bumper stuffed...now in car hospital. Am consoling my self with my mate Gordon (I loke Gordon, green bottle n all that but shame about his name!!) & doing my nails...blokey said (get this!!) that he wasnt goung to accept full liability as I was going too fast (was only going about 28 - only in 3rd gear & just pulled out myself so no time to make speed!!)...said thats fine but fail to see how when you just pulled out that it was my fault!! cheek!! Couldnt stop shaking for ages & had a good cry in middle of street!! Feel Ok now but NTL cocked phone up while they were installing downstairs this am so now have no home phone to phone insurance co tomorrow...need to sort courtesy car so no doubt a fight on my hands to get one tomorrow, despite fact that I pay for the priveledge!! Goodish day food wise...nice haircut, am alive (so is he!) & could be worse eh!! Hugs all...what kind of day did you all have?

Are you ok now hun? I had an accident in December I was on the main road and some silly girl shot out of the junction and hit me, there wasn't much damage to my car but my back still hurts now:eek: Only 'good' thing about it is that I have a compensation claim going through which will help pay one of my credit cards off.

Thanks Bagpuss. Being honest feel quite low. Its all a bit of an uphill strggle right now - feel I get on track & something else happens. Am in quite alot of pain which is exhausting in itself...just done a batch cook & had nice pasta for lunch & realised that I dont have tinned tomatoes & mince going off so will have to cook that up tomorrow...Been compleatly !!!!!! where DFW concerned...will still pay about 700 off CC but just 300 less than I could have so need to get back in the saddle again! Good news is that my bum has gone down a size! Got s22 undies yesterday, sorry mol, & they keep falling down!!...yahoo!!
Ali its not an official weight loss thread!! You're welcome to join but the person who looses the most weight each month gets a £5 gift from other members so if you're happy doing that & noone objects feel free to join! You need to pm Mol your weight & day you weigh & if people can PM me their (1) MSN name (2) Real name (3) Real address then I'll do a spreadsheet BUT BUT BUT on the condition that all agree that no details to be given out elsewhere without persons consent...I get really funny about this because of my job, personal safety etc....Anyway off for a snooze as poopied (again)...

If you are still in pain go to your doctors, after my accident I had to go back a few times to get stronger painkillers. Good luck with the dieting.

My thoughts exactly - I have strongish ones anyway but back to get something with a bit more oomph...problem is they make you really drowsy!! Osteopath is essential in my case...go for the odd click every now & then!! Massages also help but its all expensive isnt it!! At the end of the day I get to the point where if I dont go I'm in constant pain...just did a bit of ironing & in agony so had to stop (see there are advantages of car bashes - ironing MUST be limited!!)...off to start filling in insurance forms #1....
