Hee hee. My mum always used to say "I could eat a scabby horse.... and it's rider". I find myself using that one a lot. Other food related sayings I have picked up from my mum are "I fancy something nice but not common" for those times when you just want to pick at nibbly things, and "I feel like I snapped at a fly, and missed" for when you don't feel your portion was big enough - neither saying is particularly condusive to a postive, slimming frame of mind when dieting.
Did NOT have a good day yesterday weeble challenge wise. I was tired and groggy at work so succumbed to a packet of shapers crisps in the morning and then a diary crunch chocolate bar and a bottle of pepsi in the afternoon. I also didn't make it swimming. Not the most positive of starts unfortunately.

Hello everyone,
Well the super good news is that I lost...
...wait for it...
...5.5lbs this week - must've been not too bad after all! I know such a high weight loss is mainly due to me being SO heavy and it'll mostly be water as it was my first week - but I'm chuffed to bits anyway.
So for a treat its chicken enchiladas with cheese for tea - yum.
Mol - I've PM'd you my info for your lovely graph. When do you weigh in again?
FF - how did you get on at WW tonight? How was the lady?
el - how is your week going? Are you weighing in on Friday?

Way to go SS! 5.5 lbs is fantastic going!! I've emailed you all the graph and table but will do a weekly update each weekend for you all!
I don't weigh in until Monday again and I'm not feeling optimistic. I've really been overeating today in an attempt to stay awake (chocolate profiterole dessert from M&S and a large packet of cheesy puffs) plus I also have a wedding at the weekend. Hmmmm, never mind. As long as I don't put any weight on I don't mind, staying the same will be fine!!
FF - how did you get on tonight?? Ela - can't wait for your update on Friday!
Anyway, less of that. How are the DFW efforts going fishy?Debt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

hi all...2.5 ins for me which was fine! Seeing gym woman at support group (suggested by me..typical SW!!) tomorrow & feeling positive. Went to ww & found the owman who I like so have transferred to there...she's lovely & v. encouraging & worth the £4.99 unlike the other woman. Alas the gin is now ...gone...just drunk the last bit while chatting to SS!! Prob a good thing - for diet & my liver! Body, shall we say, still adjusting to fruit & veg! DFW not a fab day as had to wolf down sandwich, crisps & melted wine gums while stuck in 2hrs traffic on M4 - no fun with no aircon & arived to next visit literally soaked!! Yum! Got a scart socket (as recc by someone on techie board)...does anyone have video, dvd & cable who could look & tell me which scarts ariels go where...would be eternally grateful if you did! Feeling a tad pooped but no eaten so off for some cereal! How you going eltan> Chin up Mol..Rome wasnt built in a day n all that! Bug hugs!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hey fishface,
Lovely to chat to you tonight - its great to put a voice to the posts IYSWIM! I'm so glad WW is going well for both of us.
On WW weigh-in night, you should definitely have a treat - not cereal silly!
I hope you get all the scarty/tv stuff sorted out and you have a less traffic stressy day tomorrow!
Love and hugs

Just back from "support group" with gym woman which was interesting as she got a (enter cilla!) surprise guest of ballroom dancing teacher! Proof, if porrf were needed that I have 2 left feet & no coordination! I failed & resorted to getting gin top up on way home!! DFW day been on though generally as took lunch to work & appart from gin nothing else spent!! Lovely to chat last night SS!! Like you nice to out a voice to the name & good to have a likeminded natter!! Hope you feelin OK today & not done too much! Hugs all!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! If anyone on WW has a thing for sweets - definitely try Fruities. They are gorgeous.
Just don't eat too many! They are slight laxativesNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Hey fish,
Glad to hear you've had a strictly ballroom day! Ha Ha! Laughing at your gin top-up!
Mol and El and Fish - how is the healthy eating going?
I have had an okay day today. I've been to the pick your own farm a few miles away and spent £2 on a MASSIVE punnet of strawberries that I hand picked (and they'd done something clever so the pickers didn't have to bend down!) so I've eaten about 2/3 of the punnet! Yum! How much is it possible to LOVE STRAWBERRIES???!?
I've also had some oatcakes and pate and a (out of the freezer) mushroom and parma ham risotto. I think I might have a bagel before I go to bed too.
El - good luck for the weigh in tomorrow - let us know how you get on!

Hey
Diet update: scottishspendaholic has caught the V. WINDY bug! Ha Ha!
I've just had 2 cinnamon and raisin bagels - yum. I think I'm addicted. Also had 6 quality street sweets - oops. They are going in the bin right now.
