Finally went BR this morning at 11.15 at Brighton Crown Court. Just like to say thanks to everyone on here for all the information I've gleened from all the threads over the past few months.
In terms of the day itself, after a completely sleepless night I turned up at the court at 10.05 for my 10.15 appointment. Somebody was in front of me so didn't actually get seen to go through the forms until 10.35. The girl who took me through the forms was very helpful (and very attractive too which cheered me up:D). After that went to pay over my cash then went upstairs to see the judge. Waited about 10 minutes, was called in, asked whether I had sought outside advice etc. The judge went through the forms, asked another couple of questions, stamped the form and that was it! Went back downstairs, collected the paperwork and was out debt free by 11.30.
After that, walked around Brighton for an hour in a completely knackered daze feeling a mixture of guilt and relief. Met up with my soon to be ex wife and mother in law and went to an all you can eat oriental buffet for lunch (£6.50 a head!) which was great.
Now just need to wait on the dreaded call from the OR to explain where it all went!
Now home and going to go to bed!
