I saw this asked on another forum so I searched all the usual places, here is waht I posted on there, he wanted it in a rush so i concetrated on non online stores

Cheapest place is playasia.com £113 for a white one, not sure on the shipping times but you could also get hit for import duty making it a bit more expensive.

yesasia.com are slightly more at about £140 but they pay the customs bit.

    Non online stores?
Tesco not sure about the price I think they are about £180
    Argos £149 base pack
Game £149 base pack, £179 Value pack, £214 Giga pack, white VP is £179
Dixons £149 Base pack with free F1 game £179 White VP £214 GP they have some reasonable deals with game bundles.
PC world £149 base pack with free F1 game £199 inc Pro evo 5
Comet £149 BP, £179 VP white £219 GP with a stand
Currys have a load of options but he console prices are the same as the other DSG prices above fre F1 game on base pack Daxter with white VP
Woolworths £149 BP, £179 VP white £214.99 GP
    HMV £155 BP £219 GP
I think I covered all the major players and they are almost all the same price for the bare machines, if you want a bundle then Dixons and Currys

If you know a student you could get 10% off at HMV im not sure about other disconts at the other places?

He ended up buying off ebay someone selling one boxed and sealed but wasnt a dealer.
