Shredding can be quite therapeutic. I tend to be a bit naughty and let paperwork pile up but feel so much better when I deal with it.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Right this evening i have,,,
Sorted my life in to 5 plastic folders.(which were 25p for a pack of 5 A4)
One is for odds and sods (instruction books and bits)
One for all bank statements
One for all wage slips and recipts for imporant things
One for Household bills
And most importantly The last one is the DEBT Files
And this time i am going to keep them and file things when they come in the post.0 -
Good work on the folders, I recently introduced a finance file into our home too

Sneaks back in to diary land with head hanging n shame....
Im back after a horrible month or so and lots of problems with ex.
To cut a long story short due to bieng down and stressed i have been buying crap and cant believe i have wasted money when i was trying to be so good.
I have Been doing as many spare shifts in the evening job as i can and im in 3 noghts next week so it will help, car has its MOT in a fortnight so hopeing it will go through ok, fingers crossed.
On a plus side i have been looking at my current account to see where the money has been going and it is all on food and supermarkets etc, i have checked the freezer and apart from milk this week i dont need any thing till the end of the month, what makes me laugh there is one of me here and little on 2 nights a week and the cupboards are bursting with stuff, i really need to find something else to do when i feel down then go shopping.
Ramble over
Im trying to go back on track from today.0 -
Afternoon all,
Today has been quite productive so far, took a faulty airer back to the shop and expected them to fight and give me a gift voucher as had lost recipt but had bank statement and to my suprose they refunded it to my card.
Popped in to sainsburys and put my tub of coppers in the coinstar machine there was £4.oo in there which paid for the spuds and yoghurts that i needed.
Going to pop in to the corner shop where i work later as they have washing powder on offer and its cheaper than sainsburys was.
Going to cancel the breakdown cover with greenflag as i rang my car insurer and i get basic cover with them, and when i enquired it was only £3.oo per month to make it full cover, which considering i was paying gflag £9.oo per month its saving £72 per year!!!0 -
I just dropped little one of and popped int o the corner shop, i dont know why as i dont buy them often at all but i decided to buy a scratch card and i won a tenner on it!!! So i have decided that it will be the start of my christmas fund. along with most of the money from the refund of the airer this morning i should be at the £40.oo mark which will clear a few pressies of the list...0
